Temi Robot Tour at Djanogly Gallery

We are excited to share that temi robot tours are now live at the Djanogly Gallery. In collaboration with Neil Walker, head of Visual arts at Lakeside Arts at the University of Nottingham along with the Cobot Maker Space, and thanks to content provided by curators Dr. Richard Hornsey and Sophie ClappRobotics for Good has helped prepare a robot tour of the Boots UK Counter Culture exhibition.

The temi robot provides a perfect platform for Museum and Gallery Tours, including the following features:

  • Location mapping with autonomous navigation from one stop to the next

  • Object detection and collision avoidance, allowing the robot to move around the visitors and display items

  • Intelligent mapping capabilities including virtual walls to mark 'off-limit' areas and preferred pathways to indicate the best route for the robot to follow

  • Each tour stop is configurable to play a media sequence that can include audio (including automated speech-to-text), videos or pictures and more

If you want to know more about what's possible when using the temi robot as an automated tour guide, please don't hesitate to contact us.
